Wyoming Adds Jonathan Reeder to Coaching Staff
Jonathan Reeder spent the last 4 seasons as an assistant at Lindenwood, which is dropping their swimming & diving program after transitioning to D1. University of Wyoming swimming and diving head coach Dave Denniston made an addition to his coaching staff Friday. He hired Jonathan Reeder as a new assistant coach.
Maturity a leading factor for Laramie's Chloe Whisenant
Laramie High senior midfielder Chloe Whisenant is in the midst of her best season with the Plainsmen. She has been a lineup mainstay in high-pressure moments, and attempted 10 shots, with seven on net. Whisenant has scored twice. She also has taken 17-of-26 Laramie corners and is one of two players to attempt a penalty kick.

Cowboys add 6-foot-9 forward from Denver
LARAMIE — The University of Wyoming men's basketball team added some much-needed size Friday afternoon. The Cowboys signed 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward Touko Tainamo from the transfer portal. Tainamo averaged 15.2 points and 7.7 rebounds for the University of Denver while earning an All-Summit League honorable mention as a junior.
Laramie, Thunder Basin play to draw
Laramie High boys soccer battled an early injury against Thunder Basin on Thursday evening inside Deti Stadium. The Plainsmen fought off constant pressure against the No. 5-ranked Bolts during a 0-0 draw. LHS was outshot nine to five in the first half, but put all five shots on net.
PREP SOFTBALL: Plainsmen down visiting Bison
The Laramie High softball took advantage of Cheyenne South’s defensive woes to score seven unearned runs Thursday afternoon at the Sandy Aragon Softball Complex. The Plainsmen beat South 10-0 in five innings adding their third win in conference games. All four of the Bison’s defensive errors either directly resulted in a run scored, or had a baserunner who reached later crossing home plate.
