Washington Man Sentenced to 11 Years in Prison in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Mont. - On Wednesday, May 1, a Washington man was sentenced to 11 years in prison for fentanyl trafficking after being pulled over in Columbus, Montana. A press release from the Office of U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich says that 31-year-old Anthony Omarel Kenner of Tacoma, Wash. pleaded guilty in December 2023 to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and illegally possessing a firearm.
Woman found dead in Tacoma, police launch homicide investigation
TACOMA, Wash. - A homicide investigation was launched in Tacoma after a woman was found dead in the Stadium District on Wednesday morning. According to the Tacoma Police Department (TPD), at around 2:30 a.m., local firefighters were dispatched to the corner of North G Street and North 4th Street for reports of an unresponsive woman lying on the ground.
