SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (WSET) — The South Boston Police Department was asking for the public's help in finding a missing 15-year-old boy. According to police, they were looking for Tim'Monee Jerome Marshall. In an update on Saturday morning, police said Marshall was located.

18-year-old arrested for allegedly pointing firearm at students
CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - An 18-year-old man has been arrested for brandishing a firearm on a school campus Thursday, according to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say crews were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. to William Campbell High School to reports of a man pointing a firearm at students before leaving in a vehicle.
Danville firefighters battling housefire
DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 452 Church Ave. this morning shortly after 5:00am. Units from our Westover Drive station were first to arrive and found a detached garage full involved with fire. Investigators say units are still on the scene managing hot spots due to the roof and walls collapsing. The cause of this fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.

It’s most everybody’s favorite time of year---time for the spring version of the 100 mile yard sale along U.S. 29, generally running from Amherst to Danville. Yard sales do not encompass the entire route as some stretches of 29 are wooded with no residential areas. All the towns usually participate in some way.
