Crews working to restore power following early morning storms
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Crews are still working to restore service after a severe storm swept through the Tennessee Valley early Monday morning. According to Todd Long with Huntsville Utilities, most of the Madison County power outages are in cluster spreads throughout the county; however, there’s a large outage in the Huntsville medical district. The area most impacted in Madison County stems from Pratt Avenue South to Governors Drive and Gallatin Street east to Owens Drive.

Huntsville Utilities responding to power outage
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Crews with Huntsville Utilities are working on a power outage after a thunderstorm rolled through the area Saturday morning. At 1:10 p.m. Saturday, utility crews say 277 customers are still without power. They have confirmed two downed power poles and two downed trees in their area. At the height of the outage, there were more than 4,000 without power.
