Man Honored For 25 Years of Music in Oakfield
OAKFIELD, Maine (WAGM) - It’s a Tuesday night tradition in Oakfield. For the past 25 years folks have gathered for music and dancing. Patten asking for federal funding for its roads
PATTEN -- Patten; a small town that offers stunning views, displaying Mount Katahdin's beauty with its Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. However, the roads leading up to the property are in such disrepair that town officials say something needs to be done, so Town Manager Gail Albert is doing her best to make something happen.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Friday. We had a beautiful day across the county with plenty of sunshine. Winds were gusty at times during the day, but overall we still saw nice weather for the daytime hours. High temperatures this afternoon reached the upper 50s and lower 60s for most locations. Mild air was able to work into the region on southerly winds. While winds could still be breezy at times during the day tomorrow, it won’t have as much luck bringing warmer temperatures into the county like what we saw today.
