Sunday felt more like early June across Central Indiana with the observed high temperatures. Dominating high pressure to our south and east kept any rain and cool air west. But that won’t be the case for much longer. That high-pressure center will continue sliding east and so will a slow-moving cold front. This, in time will make this an active workweek to end April and open May!

Hopefully you were able to get outside and enjoy the comfortable weather on Saturday. Despite a few downpours in the afternoon, both Muncie and Shelbyville surpassed the 80° mark yesterday. Most areas had highs in the upper 70s, meaning temperatures were running more than 10° above average for late April!
