Emergency crews say no natural gas leak found in three counties in Kentucky and Ohio
ASHLAND, Ky. (WCHS) — UPDATED, 6:15 p.m. 5/6/24:. We have an update on the investigation into a strong smell of natural gas in three counties in Ohio and Kentucky. Firefighters with the Ashland Fire Department said that as of 5 p.m. Monday that members, along with workers with Columbia Gas, have checked over 30 structures in the downtown area and no readings of natural gas have been found.

17-year-old dies in Adams County after vehicle swept away in creek due to flood waters
ADAMS COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A 17-year-old died in Adams County when the vehicle he was in got swept into a creek on Saturday. It was swept into the creek by Island Creek bridge due to rising flood waters. The vehicle was recovered south of the bridge by U.S. 52 in Manchester, according to Manchester Fire Department.
