One Rescued After Early Morning Fire in Norwich
One woman was rescued from the second floor of a home after a fire broke out at a Sheldon Street residence in Norwich Wednesday morning. According to the Norwich Fire Department, the call came in at 5:23 a.m. for a report of a structure fire at 50 Sheldon Street with possible entrapment. Smoke was visible from a second-story window when crews arrived on scene and a working fire was found on the second story as well. Crews began working to extinguish the fire and removed a female from the room.
