FORT BENTON, Mont. - Just 36 miles north of Great Falls lies Fort Benton, a small town that is seeing major changes when it comes to their police department. The Fort Benton Police Department only has 3 full time officers, starting March 31 it will be down to two, and April 20 there will be zero.

FORT BENTON, Mont. - Fort Benton Police Sgt. Erica Stanley is resigning from her position taking effect April 20. This news comes after Fort Benton Police Chief Adam Jacques announced on Wed, March 13 that he sent in his resignation as Fort Benton Police Chief, also taking place April 20, and he would be accepting a position at Chouteau County Sheriff's Office.
