Missoula felon sentenced to prison for illegally possessing firearm
MISSOULA, Mont. — A 24-year-old Missoula man who pleaded guilty in December 2023 to prohibited person in possession of a firearm was sentenced to prison Wednesday. Caleb Gerard Diamond is sentenced to two years and nine months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release after admitting to illegally possessing a loaded and stolen firearm.
Mount Sentinel's M Trail will close to hikers in May
MISSOULA, Mont. - The popular hiking trail leading up to the M on Mount Sentinel will be closed for improvements from May 3-11. Improvements to the trail will include extending three sections on the lower part of the trail to make it slightly less steep, helping to prevent such quick erosion, according to a university press release.
