An accident at a Lubbock area cotton processing facility leads to a man’s death. Police say 62-year-old Santos Galicia-Hernandez suffered a fatal crush injury while working between two 1,500 pound stacks of cotton.

City of Crosbyton names new police chief
CROSBYTON, Texas (KCBD) - The City of Crosbyton has named a new police chief. Harold McClure was sworn in Tuesday morning, according to a post on the city’s Facebook page. McClure started his law enforcement career in 1998 in Wichita Falls after completing the academy. He spent his 24-year career there until he retired in February of 2022.
