BARTLETT, N.H. — A New Hampshire State Police trooper was taken to the hospital after the cruiser he was driving crashed early Thursday morning, authorities said. Sgt. Nathan Johnston, a 20-year veteran of New Hampshire State Police, was driving on Route 302 in Bartlett around 3:20 a.m. when, for reasons still under investigation, the cruiser went off the road, hit a utility pole, which brought down wires, authorities said.
