Juvenile Arrested for Firearms Possession
On Friday, April 19th, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Special Enforcement Unit (Gang Unit) observed a juvenile, documented criminal street gang member in a parked vehicle. The officers recognized the juvenile, 16-year-old male Oxnard resident and knew the juvenile to be on probation for firearms possession. The officers contacted the juvenile who was seated in the driver’s seat. There were two additional juveniles in the vehicle with the driver.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Office has submitted a misdemeanor indecent exposure case involving former Ventura City Attorney Andrew Heglund to county prosecutors.
