Woman charged in Monday Bridgeport gunfire
BRIDGEPORT — An Okanogan County woman is charged with multiple felonies for allegedly firing a handgun in traffic in near Bridgeport. Esmeralda Tavares, 18, of Brewster was arrested Monday after witnesses reported she fired at least one gunshot at their vehicle as they attempted to pass her near Highway 173 and COnklin Hill Road. No one was injured.
