New speed limit takes effect in Union County town ahead of $14 million project
INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. (WBTV) - A new speed limit went into effect in a Union County town on Monday, reducing the speed along one road from 35 mph to 25 mph. The change is a safety precaution that comes before the start of a more than $14 million improvement project along Indian Trail Road. The new limit will affect the stretch of road between Highway 74 and Old Monroe Road.
