Storm Damage In Stroud, Clean-Up Along The Turnpike
Clean-up is happening up the turnpike after early morning storms. News 9's Tevis Hillis was live in Stroud with a look at the damage. The most significant damage is on Main Street, you can see the roofs that were taken off these units early this morning, luckily they were being remodeled so no one was injured.

Jenks Home Catches Fire During Early Morning Storms
A home caught fire in Jenks on Friday morning during heavy storms. The fire happened near 111th and Highway 75 around 6:30 a.m. while lightening was moving through the area. Firefighters responded to the scene and were able to quickly put the fire out. The family living at the home was not injured during the incident.

(April 26, 2024) After much consideration, OCRS officials and Creek County Speedway officials have decided to postpone tonight’s event to a later date. “We want to race, but we are just worried about the storms rolling in tonight and we can’t get everybody out of the racetrack or somebody getting hurt.” said Tim Kent.
