CrimeStoppers reports high number of tips in Orange Mound mass shooting
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - CrimeStoppers of Memphis and Shelby County received more than 50 tips in the deadly Orange Mound mass shooting case, a high number of tips according to the organization. Two people died and seven others were injured during the shooting amid a block party on April 20.
Memphis Area Issued Code Orange Ozone Alert, Residents Advised to Limit Outdoor Activities
The city of Memphis and its surrounding areas have been put on alert for poor air quality today, as the Shelby County Health Department reported forecasted ozone values that may prove hazardous for individuals with respiratory concerns. According to the National Weather Service Memphis, a Code Orange Ozone Forecast is in effect for Shelby County Tennessee, Crittenden County Arkansas, and DeSoto County Mississippi, which includes the city of Memphis.
