A Shelbyville man arrested in a beating that killed a 45-year-old man in 2022 has pleaded guilty to one of his charges, according to court records. Jeremy Jones, 47, has entered a plea to his count of aggravated battery, a felony, in the death of Tommy Casey Jr. As part of the agreement, the state will dismiss his murder and robbery charges.
