A 26-year-old West Linn police officer died Sunday, Nov. 19 in a sudden medical event, according to a department announcement made Nov. 20.

Ethan Cordry joined the West Linn Police Department in April 2022, graduated from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training later that year and completed his field training in February 2023.
