Pickup fire South part of Watertown

{KXLG -Watertown, SD} A pickup fire was reported last night in the South part of Watertown near the 14^th Avenue and 14^th Street Southeast intersection. Watertown Fire Rescue responded to the scene just after 8:30 p.m. and reported Engine 4 Crews used a preconnected line to “make fire attack and knock down the initial fire.”

According to the Watertown Fire Rescue release, “A hydraulic spreader was used to access the locked door and into the engine compartment.  Hot spots were then sprayed down until no more were found.  Engine 4 crew was on the scene for about half an hour.”
