An occupied yellow school bus was safely evacuated after it caught fire in Sacramento on Tuesday, according to the fire department.The incident happened on southbound Interstate 5 at the Arena Boulevard onramp, and involved a Woodland Joint Unified School District bus.Officials said the bus pulled off I-5 after the driver realized the engine was overheating.The California Highway Patrol said the bus’ engine caught fire, and all kids were able to get off the bus safely. An occupied yellow school bus was safely evacuated after it caught fire in Sacramento on Tuesday, according to the fire department.
