A hiker died after suffering a medical emergency on a Perris trail Saturday.
The Riverside County Fire Department received a report of the emergency in the 26000 block of Peach Street at around 11:40 a.m. Saturday.
Personnel from the fire department and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department made access to the person, who was in an inaccessible part of the trail, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
