DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - One man was injured and three vehicles were damaged after a man driving a Kenworth T880 suffered a medical event.

Police say Matthew W. McGinnis, Jr., 41, of Quincy, MI, was turning into the SDI complex in the 4500 Block of CR 59, Butler when he felt sick and possibly blacked out.

He continued through the parking lot, hitting the front end of a parked Peterbilt 389 driven by Miguel Pedroso-Hernandez, 43, of Merrillville, who was sleeping at the time.

McGinnis continued on and hit the trailer of a Peterbilt 579 driven by Michael Listo, 58, of Amelia, OH, who was sitting in the vehicle at the time.

McGinnis, Jr. and Pedroso-Hernandez, who had back pain, were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
