Flames shoot out of boat on tractor-trailer in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WLNE) — A large boat caught fire in Portsmouth early Thursday morning.

Portsmouth police said a boat seated on a tractor-trailer parked off Stringham Road caught fire a about 2 a.m.

Video submitted by an ABC 6 News viewer shows large flames shooting from the trailer as dozens of firefighters try to knock it down.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
