2 workers injured after scrapyard fire leads to black smoke across Phoenix

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -- Two workers were treated for smoke inhalation after a scrapyard fire sent heavy black smoke billowing across central and west Phoenix Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported around 9:20 a.m. near 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road. While details on what led up to the blaze are still under investigation, Phoenix fire crews confirmed that two employees at the business were medically treated and that no firefighters were injured. An investigation remains underway.
