OXFORD (WGME) - The Oxford Police Department says they responded to a crash involving a car into a pole and then into a house on Tuesday.
The crash happened on Cold Water Brook Road in Oxford.
An officer from the Oxford Police Department says the driver of the car had an unexplained medical event before crashing into that pole and house.
The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and is not currently facing any charges.
There was one homeowner in the house when it was struck and they were not injured.
However, the house is now being condemned and is not currently safe to live in due to the damage it received.
The police department is saying the home shifted off it's base when it was hit and crews had to stabilize it so it wouldn't collapse any further.
The road was closed due to the response from Oxford PD but was not closed for long.
