NITRO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Members of the Nitro Fire Department responded to Nitro Market Place earlier in the month regarding a vehicle which had caught fire.
According to the Nitro Fire Department, Station 80 Nitro Fire Department 851 responded to a car fire at the Nitro Market Place Lowes location on the night of Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Though the released statement itself reveals little with regard to the nature of the incident, images taken from the scene indicate that the front portion of a white, compact SUV caught fire in the parking lot area of the Nitro Market Place near the entrance of the retail store.
The scene was characterized by billowing smoke emerging from the vehicle, and three Nitro Fire Department members can be seen combatting the flames with one member utilizing a hose.
While no indication was given as to the nature or cause of the vehicle’s apparent combustion, some social media users have speculated that the make and model of the vehicle involved may have been a factor in the incident.Â
