Body found in Nicholas County identified as missing man

NICHOLAS COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A body found in Nicholas County has been identified as that of a man reported missing earlier this year.

James Aaron Key, 38, was reported missing from the Gauley Run Road area of Summersville earlier this year, according to a news release from the Nicholas County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said a body found on a trail near Armstrong Road was identified as Key by the West Virginia State Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday.

No information is available on the cause of Key’s death.
