Fire marshals investigating box truck fire in Wicomico Co.

SALISBURY, Md. – An investigation is underway after a fire destroyed a box truck Thursday evening.

The fire was reported at around 8 p.m. at 4783 Dividing Road. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find the blaze involving a 2010 International 26-foot Lone Star box truck. Crews were able to control the fire in approximately 15 minutes.

State fire investigators are actively working to determine the cause of the fire, which caused an estimated $38,000 in damage.
