Smoke was billowing through the air as the Liverpool Fire Department responded to an incident where two tractor trailers caught fire on East Terminal Road behind the Pilot Travel Center in Liverpool.

Crews were made aware of the heavy smoke at around 3:00 pm and were told there was a possible tractor trailer on fire. They arrived on scene just five minutes later, and found that there were actually 2 trucks on fire.

The fire was able to be put out with no injuries reported.

The Onondaga County Fire Investigation Unit is investigating the origin of the fire.
