UPDATE: Pointe Coupee Fire District 3 says that Chenal Road is now open.
VENTRESS, La. (BRPROUD) – Two fire districts in Pointe Coupee are responding to an overturned 18-wheeler in Ventress on Monday afternoon.
Pointe Coupee Fire District 2 says that crews are currently working to get a diesel leak under control after the trailer overturned on Chanel Road. The fire departments asks that drivers avoid the area.
Fire District 3 Chief Donald Williams says there were no injuries, and the road should be opened shortly.
