4 cars catch fire in St. Vincent Hospital parking garage in Worcester, Massachusetts
Several vehicles were damaged in a fire inside a Worcester, Massachusetts, hospital parking garage on Thursday. Worcester Fire said crews were called to a report of a car fire inside the St. Vincent Hospital parking garage at about noon. Firefighters found black smoke coming from the garage openings and four vehicles on fire. The fire was put out within 20 minutes, and the garage’s Summer Street entrance and exit were temporarily closed. The fire did not affect hospital operations. “Saint Vincent hospital is open, fully operational and patient care continues uninterrupted,” the facility said in a statement. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
