Fire crews responded to Interstate 80 last night in East Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County, for a report that a tractor-trailer had broken into flames on the highway

The Warrior Run Area Fire Department responded to the scene just after 8 PM Wednesday to find that the fire from the vehicle had been spreading to the vegetation on the South shoulder of the bank where the vehicle was stopped.

Despite the extensive damage to the tractor-trailer, no injuries have been reported.

There is currently no word on how the fire started.
