A woman was killed in a crash after she suffered what was believed to be a medical event, according to the York County Coroner.

The coroner's report says 65-year-old Rebecca Shingleton lost control of her vehicle, causing her to collide into a brick wall, then cross over into oncoming traffic, resulting in a head on crash involving multiple vehicles.

The crash happened on Nov. 1 at around 3:41 p.m. in the 3200 block of East Market Street. Shingleton was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to the coroner.
