A milk tanker fire closed the A30 in Cornwall in both directions for more than five hours.

The fire, which started just before 05:50 GMT, had shut both carriageways between the A3058 Summer Court junction and the B3285 Carland Cross.

Highways England had to assess damage to the road and remove the vehicle before it was reopened.

Diversions were put in place while work was carried out.
