DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) —
A fire in a garbage truck briefly brought train and car traffic to a halt in Delray Beach.

Delray Beach Fire Rescue said the Waste Management company truck caught fire along Dixie Highway near Linton Boulevard on Monday afternoon.
The driver made it out safely.
Firefighters heard explosions from the propane in the engine.

Crews diverted traffic from the area and paused trains on the FEC tracks until they had the flames under control.

No word yet on the case, but Delray Beach Fire Rescue believes the fire started in the truck's engine compartment.
