AUSTIN, Texas —
A garbage truck caught on fire early Wednesday morning in northeast Austin.

Fire crews say around 2:26 a.m. they responded to reports of a vehicle fire behind the Exxon gas station located at 1900 East Anderson Lane - near Rutherford and 290.
When units arrived, they saw the back of a garbage truck and its contents on fire.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire after the driver dumped the contents.

Officials say no injuries were reported.
