Body found at park in Muscatine is believed to be that of a missing man

MUSCATINE, Iowa (KWQC) - Muscatine Police Department says a body found Friday at Discovery Park is believed to be that of a man who has been missing for months.
According to a news release, after the preliminary investigation, it is believed it is the body of 21-year-old Trevor Allen Wixom. He was reported as a missing person in October, 2022.
The Muscatine Police Department is awaiting final confirmation of the deceased from the State Pathologist.
The case remains under investigation and anyone who believes they have any information regarding Trevor’s disappearance or death, is asked to contact Sgt. Jeff DeVrieze at (563) 263-9922 ext. 629.
