Two dead after vehicle submerges into Lake of the Arbuckles off boat ramp

Two people were found dead after a vehicle went into a boat ramp at Lake of the Arbuckles on Friday night.
At 9:36 p.m., Murray County dispatch received a call from one of the two occupants of the vehicle in the water at the Buckhorn Boat Ramp in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. National Park Service rangers arrived on the scene at 9:46 p.m., and the vehicle was fully submerged, according to a statement from Megan Wilkins with the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
Rangers attempted to reach the vehicle, but they were unable to. The National Park Service requested assistance from the Chickasaw Lighthorse Dive Team to assist, and they were able to pull the vehicle out of the water at approximately 11:30 p.m.

Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene. Both of the victims were women in their twenties. Their identities are being withheld until the families are notified.
Wilkins said the vehicle wasn't towing a boat.
