Mike Hubert, shown with his wife Cindy, used his Navy career as a springboard to more than three decades with Waupaca Foundry. The Marinette native is the maintenance manager at the Tell City, Indiana plant.

TELL CITY, Ind. — Growing up in Marinette, Michael Hubert never thought he would see much of the world. But he wanted to and enlisting in United States Navy gave him the opportunity to do so.

Hubert, maintenance manager at Plant 5 located in Tell City, Indiana, served four years in the United States Navy. He enlisted in the Navy after graduating from Marinette High School.
