Trailer fire snarls midday traffic on I-10 East at Malbis

LOXLEY, Ala. (WALA) - A tractor-trailer fire in the noon hour today had both eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 blocked at Malbis, between Exit 38 and Exit 44.

An ALDOT camera view showed the trailer separated and still burning with firefighters on the scene at 12:40 p.m.

At 1:25 p.m. crews had moved the trailer off the shoulder and one eastbound lane was reopened to traffic.
