WATCH: Engine malfunction sparks semi fire on I-80 in central Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An engine malfunction caused a semitrailer fire on Interstate 80 in central Nebraska on Tuesday.

The fire happened between Overton and Elm Creek in Dawson County.

A spokesman with the Nebraska State Patrol said the driver pulled over the semi before flames engulfed it.

No one was injured.
