Semi-truck fire closes part of I-80 in western Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A semitrailer-truck fire caused a partial closure of Interstate 80 in western Nebraska on Sunday.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the one of the westbound lanes on I-80, east of Ogallala, was closed around 11:30 a.m.

By 3:20 p.m., the road was reopened.

No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
