Semi truck driver had ‘medical episode,’ struck several vehicles, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A seven-vehicle crash involving a semitrailer-truck and a school bus shut down a part of O Street in west Lincoln on Tuesday.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sun Valley Boulevard and West O Street.

Lincoln Police say the semi driver had a “medical episode” and struck a school bus and five other vehicles.

No students were in the bus at the time of the crash, according to a Lincoln Public Schools spokeswoman.

The semi driver was taken to the hospital, and another person was transported for a minor injury, police say.
