Two people have been found dead inside the La Salle high-rise complex on Second Street.
Police were sent to the two towers for wellness checks twice on Monday afternoon and each time reported bad news.
Just after 1:30, a 60-year-old man was found dead inside his apartment. Just over a half-hour later, a 46-year-old woman was found inside her apartment. Her body will be autopsied. The La Salle County Coroner's office is investigating each incident. No foul play is suspected in either death.
The La Salle Police Department Investigations Unit has assisted in both investigations.
