Salt Lake County motorhome fire causes $40K in damages

KEARNS, Utah (KUTV) —
Crews responded to a motorhome fire in Kearns on Thursday.

Authorities of Unified Fire said that the owners of the motorhome called 911 on the afternoon of Nov. 2 to report that they had become aware of a fire that sparked in the vehicle's engine compartment.

Several units responded and were able to gain control of the flames and extinguish the fire.
Officials estimated the cost of damages to be $40,000.
No injuries were sustained by the owners of the motorhome of fire personnel.
The fire was contained to the motorhome and did not spread to surrounding structures.
