Iowa City firefighters responded to a car fire overnight.
The Iowa City Fire Department and Iowa City Police were called to the scene on the 2000 block of Plaen View Drive just after 11:15 Saturday night. Arriving units confirmed an active fire.
The blaze was extinguished, and there were no reports of injuries. The extent of the damage is unknown.
