A truck trailer caught fire Tuesday morning, shutting down parts of Florida's Turnpike north in Indian River County.

Around 3:30 a.m., St. Lucie County Fire District responded to mile marker 176 to find the trailer up in flames.

The driver of the truck managed to detach the truck prior to the fire spreading, and no injuries were reported.
