An early morning truck fire on Interstate 78 in New Jersey was still causing delays during the Friday morning commute.
A witness said they called in the blaze at about midnight on I-78 East near exit 13 in Union Township, Hunterdon County.
The highway was initially closed at about 12:30 a.m., but by 2:47 a.m. a single lane of traffic was getting by the fire scene.
By 7 a.m., eastbound drivers were still seeing traffic backups and delays. Traffic cameras show drivers at a standstill at times near the Warren County line.
