Semi truck completely destroyed in I-24 fire
MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — An 18-wheeler caught fire Sunday night and Haletown Volunteer Firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The truck caught on fire on I-24 eastbound around 9 p.m., officials said.
First responders approached the intense flames, but they were not able to save the vehicle.
Due to the degree of damage, firefighters say the semi-truck was completely destroyed.
However, no one was injured.
